Should I haggle when shopping in Moroccan souks?
Yes! Haggling is widespread throughout Morocco and is commonplace in souks. Most shopkeepers quote a higher price and expect the buyer to haggle which is all part of the experience. Make sure you haggle in a good-natured, friendly way and you will be sure to not only make a new friend but possibly even pick up a bargain.
