We had a wonderful holiday
We had a really fantastic holiday (probably our best) and would like to thank you very much for all your help, advice and planning. Everything was perfect.
We thought Dudhwa would be just another national park but it soon became a rival with our favourite parks Panna and Satpura. Dudhwa National Park is one of the best parks we've been to – very few jeeps are allowed in the park each morning and afternoon, which was good as we hardly met other jeeps during our safaris. This really made the safaris much more enjoyable.
So, we had a wonderful holiday and we're now starting to plan our next visit to India – next year!

Our trip to Indonesia was spectacular and memorable for all the right reasons. Canada - June 2026
An amazing Canada adventure
We are gradually coming down to earth after an amazing Canada adventure! Two nights in Toronto was great fun. We particularly enjoyed the Music Garden, Waterfront and an evening cycle through the islands and looking back at that skyline. Tobermory was a fabulous relaxation stop and the hotel here was superb. We loved walking along the Bruce Peninsula and Singing Sands. In Huntsville we enjoyed Sugar Bush Hill Maple Farm, lovely Baysville, Aspen Wildlife Rehabilitation and Arrowhead Park where we swam, walked and canoed. In Kingston we absolutely loved staying at The Secret Garden Inn and 1000 Island cruise was fab. Niagara-on-the-Lake was as beautiful as billed and we had a gorgeous weekend there and our last day at the Falls was a great finale. I’d say the trip was the perfect level of travel and staying put for us. Communication from Pettitts and yourself was super and we would definitely use again and recommend. Five stars!

Canada - June 2026
A truly memorable experience
Holiday was very enjoyable and everything went well. The hotels were all good. Auberge Saint Pierre in Quebec City was probably my favourite as it was an older-style hotel that had been extremely well renovated. Also the Sheraton Falls Hotel in Niagara Falls was excellent and our room had a view of the Falls. It was a truly memorable experience. We watched the firework display (which is held each night during the summer) at 10 PM from our balcony. Excellent. Both train journeys were very good; comfortable seats and staff were very helpful with our cases. The transfers also worked extremely well, and flights were fine. Thanks for all your help.

Amazing trip to India
We have just returned from our second amazing trip to India arranged with Pettitts. We cannot praise them highly enough and have been so impressed at each stage. From the time taken initially to understand what we where looking for in our trips to then narrowing down to potential options for itineraries, we felt that the service, recommendations and assistance we received was knowledgeable, truly personalised and bespoke. It is very difficult to pick out highlights as everywhere we went was so vibrant and interesting, but the places and events that were particularly memorable included Shimla which was just fascinating, being part of witnessing the aarti ceremony in Haridwar and our absolute favourite place of Dudwha and the outstanding Jaagir Manor. Thank you for working so hard to really personalise the trip to us and our interests and for creating an itinerary that showed us places that have left us with a thirst for more of India.

Porto - March 2026
A very happy visit
We have just returned from a very happy visit to Porto so I wanted to thank Astra for recommending and organising our trip. We would really recommend the hotel Forte de Gaia where the staff were so attentive and kind, the room quiet and comfortable and the food excellent. Our hotel window had a wonderful view of the old town and we could watch all the river traffic coming and going. We were easily able to walk over the bridge to the heritage area or take a taxi or bus, and it was great to explore the old port houses and take a Duoro boat trip. Our transfers to and from the airport worked well.
