When is the best time to visit Greece?
The best time to visit Greece is between June and August when the weather is dry and warm. Spring and autumn are also excellent times to visit and have the benefit of fewer visitors. The sea also remains warm until October.
How long is the flight to Greece from the UK?
Depending on the final destination, direct flights to Greece from the UK take around 4 hours. Connecting flights to smaller islands can add a few hours to the journey.

Greece is known for its excellent service and welcoming population. However, in the most part, Greeks are not big tippers. A tip of 10% for good service is the norm in sit-down restaurants whilst in bars and cafes, or for taxis, accepted practice is to simply round up the bill.
