Indonesia is a tropical country so loose-fitting cotton clothing is suggested. You should also bring comfortable walking shoes. When visiting temples you should ensure that your shoulders and knees are covered.

The risk of malaria is low throughout most of the country but anti-malarial tablets may be needed depending on where you will be visiting.
