We are proudly independent

Founded in Royal Tunbridge Wells in 1988 by Steven Pettitt and Nigel Berry, Pettitts Travel pioneered the unique concept of independent luxury travel by car around India.

Clients were soon asking us to provide our services in other destinations and so our portfolio steadily grew to include the broad range we hold today.

We offer holidays across the Indian Subcontinent, North, Central and Southeast Asia and The Middle East, bringing on the USA, Canada, and Europe after merging with CT Travel Group another long-established Tunbridge Wells Travel Company, in 2017, founded by Mark Kempster.

Family is at the heart of our business

To this day, Pettitts Travel remains a family-run business with a growing team of travel enthusiasts as part of our family. Steven Pettitt still runs our Asia Travel Department and Steve’s son David Pettitt leads our product team.

In November 2024 Pettitts Travel joined forces with Good Travel Management, backed by the John Good Group a 6th generation family business founded in 1833 and is now part of The Good Travel Collective Limited.
